This is a for-profit blog. In a nutshell, that means that I sell adspace on this blog, either as actual ads, or as sponsored content.

This page is intended to demystify the details of our sponsored content, breaking it down so that you know exactly what you are reading, and why you can trust the honesty and authenticity of our opinions and views.

First and foremost, know that every opinion I share on this blog is my honest and complete opinion. I will never allow any form of compensation to sway my opinion in a positive or negative way, and if I dislike something I will always tell you why, in a fair and balanced way. My good opinion cannot be bought.

I am a disabled stay-at-home mom with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and a back injury, and despite my inability to work outside of my home, I want to help my husband support our family. Writing enables me to not only contribute to my family’s coffers, but also to share my experiences, talents, and Hope with my readers. While I would love to write full time without a thought to money, we have expenses like anyone else. Monetizing this blog is a way for me to do both.

Legal Disclosure

This blog is an entertainment blog written and edited by myself, Alena Belleque. I write reviews and host giveaways, but I will only offer genuine reviews for companies that I believe may interest and benefit my readers.  I turn down far more review and giveaway offers than I accept in an effort to only offer high quality, honest reviews and giveaways on this blog.

This blog accepts paid content in the form of reviews, sponsorship, affiliate links, and other forms of compensation; all such content will always be clearly identified. I will always be transparent when I use an affiliate or referral link to endorse a product that I love. This means that when you click on one of these links and purchase a product I recommend, I may receive credit in some form, such as a small percentage of the sale. You are never ever charged more for your purchase, however! Anything I make is a portion of your normal purchase amount, sent my way as a thank you for endorsing that product or service. Again, I will never recommend something unless I actually like it.

This blog abides by word of mouth marketing standards. I believe in honesty of relationship, opinion, and identity. Compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics, or posts made in this blog; all such content will always be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content. In other words, I may accept sponsored reviews and other content, however I do not promise a positive review – my opinions and recommendations are always 100% genuine, and I will never endorse something I do not believe is worthwhile.

Guest authors will occasionally be compensated to provide opinions on products, services, websites, and various other topics, or for writing a guest post on this blog. Guest authors will always be clearly identified, and if they are compensated, that will also always be clearly disclosed. Opinions expressed by guest authors are solely their own opinions, and may differ from my opinions, though I strive to only invite guest authors of impeccable moral character and integrity, whom I believe will provide their honest and complete opinion on any product, service, website, or other topic on which they express an opinion, regardless of compensation. I will always seek to verify any information presented in a guest post, however I may not be held liable should any information provided by a guest author prove to be in error or dishonest.

This blog does not contain any content which may present a conflict of interest. Any concerns relating to conflict of interest may be addressed by emailing me at alena@intothelibrary.com.

If you have questions or concerns, please write to me at alena@intothelibrary.com so that I can help you.

Thank you for reading my blog and being a member of my community!
